Quotation Conditions:  Quotations are for 90 days.  We will proceed with the quote once full funding has been accounted for and accepted.

If the quotation constitutes a “customised product” once the order is accepted and processed, it is not possible to cancel the order or receive a full refund. Please contact us for further details.

Product Warranty

Motion Wheelchairs warrants to the original purchaser for those periods set forth below that all new products shall be free from failure caused by defects in material and workmanship when used under normal conditions in a normal manner.

The obligation of the company under this warranty consists only of repairing or replacing, at the company’s option, any part, which is proved to be defective in material or factory workmanship. The company reserves the right to require the return of defective material to verify the claim.

All costs, such as labour, transportation, and loss of use, associated with the replacement of defective parts and components are not covered under this warranty.

Terms of Warranty

The product is warranted for a period of twelve (12) months from date of purchase by original user, unless otherwise stated below in exclusions and variations.

If the product is rented or otherwise used as a demonstrator, the warranty period begins on the date of invoice. Repair parts are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase.

Replacement parts used in warranty repairs are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days or the balance of the warranty period, whichever is longer.

Warranty Exclusions

  1. Commode Seating – Foamcoted Black or White. All padding covered with Foamcote Spray will be covered under warranty for a period of 6 months, subject to inspection.
  2. Upholstery – All upholstery will be covered under warranty for a period of 6 months, subject to inspection.
  3. Tyres (wear items and not warranted).
  4. Self repair or replacement parts without permission by the manufacturer.
  5. Damaged parts resulting from an accident.
  6. Damage caused by improper operation, maintenance or storage.
  7. Damage caused by commercial use or use other than normal.
  8. Power Wheelchair batteries have a warranty of 6 months.

Conditions Which Will Void The Warranty

This warranty will be void if the product has been subjected to negligence, abuse, misuse, accidental damage, improper operation, improper maintenance, or improper storage. The warranty is also void if damage is due to unauthorised modifications or alterations.

THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, IMPLIED OR EXPRESSED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

MOTION WHEELCHAIRS FURTHER DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT.
